For our Summer 2024 run, FoodShareJoy was able to reach more people than in the history of its summer food runs, in the span of just one day.
In collaboration with our wonderful partners at ERL Hospitality and Sweetgrass Grill, we successfully distributed over 300 meals to men and women on Bowery Street. Thank you to Grassroots Kitchen for making and packaging these meals for us to help the NYC community!

This was FoodShareJoy's greatest summer event yet.
With $1,200 in funding, we handed out 60 backpacks, 40 cold beverages, and 5 $100,00 gift cards on the streets of Bowery this sunny August afternoon.
This summer, we branched out from simply creating meals, to delivering food-related services that would genuinely change the lives of those who received them.

Gallery- Summer 2022
This summer, FoodShareJoy made massive improvements in its reach and impact across the state of New York. We were able to touch the lives of over 250 people experiencing homelessness this summer. We were able to distribute 150 meals to men and women on Bowery Street, New York, and also donated about 30 servings worth of ingredients to the nearby Bowery Mission.
We also deepened our partnership with Lifting Up Westchester by donating 70 hand-packaged goodie bags with survival items, handwritten letters, and Asian candies to the homeless men and women eating in LUW's kitchens.
